Karbonn Sparkle V, Micromax Canvas A1, and Spice Dream Uno Google Android One Smartphones

Google has launched its flagship Android One budget smartphones in India. The three Androd One phones launched include Karbonn Sparkle V, Micromax Canvas A1, and Spice Dream Uno.

The three phones will be available online on Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal starting September 15, 3:30pm IST and via Reliance Digital, Croma and The Mobile Store, offline during October 2014.

The Android One smartphones will get first hand Android updates for the next two years. They can also view YouTube videos offline. These features are considered exclusive in this segment.

All the three smartphones Karbonn Sparkle V, Micromax Canvas A1, and Spice Dream Uno bear similar features hardware specifications including 4.5-inch (480x854 pixels) IPS FWVGA display; 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor;  a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash; a 2-megapixel front camera; Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of inbuilt storage; expandable storage support via microSD card (up to 32GB); and a 1700mAh battery.

Micromax CAnvas A1 offers 3G connection on both its sims, whereas the other two don't. Other distinctive difference between Karbonn Sparkle V, Micromax Canvas A1, and Spice Dream Uno is regarding their size, colour and shape only.

Google has also annouced that more Android One phones are coming from top manufacturers including Acer, Alcatel Onetouch, Asus, HTC, Intex, Lava, Lenovo, Panasonic, Qualcomm and Xolo.
