Ajmal Kasab hanged and buried in Yerwada Jail, Pune

 21 November 2012: Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab, 25, the only terrorist caught alive during the 26/11 attacks on Mumbai, was hanged at Pune's Yerwada Jail at 7:30 am today.

The petition for clemency filed by condemned prisoner Mohammed Ajmal Mohammed Amir Kasab was rejected by the President on 5th November, 2012.

His body has been buried at Yeravada Central Prison, Yeravada, Pune.

The Government of Pakistan and the family of Kasab was informed about the execution of the terrorist. However this top secret operation of execution of Kasab today morning was not known to the Prime Minister of India and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi.
