Sandeep Patil Indian Cricket Team Selection Committee Chairman

Mumbai, 27 September 2012: Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) has appointed former Indian cricketer Sandeep Patil as the Chairman of Indian cricket team's National selection committee. He replaces the current chairman Kris Srikkanth.

The new panel of selection committee was announced in the BCCI's  83rd annual general meeting held at Mumbai. The new panel comprises of Roger Binny (South), Vikram Rathore (North), Saba Karim (East) and Rajinder Singh Hans (Central). Mohinder Amarnath who was a member of the committee was removed from the panel.

Sandeep Patil who was a stylish batsman in his days has been the coach for Kenyan national team in the 2003 world cup in which they reached semi-finals. He later coached Indian A team and also been the director of the NCA.
