New Delhi, September 26, 2012: Nissan Motor India Private Limited has announced the launch of its Multi Utility Vehicle (MUV) 'Evalia' in India. The Nissan Evalia which is the first 7-seater from the company is also the third locally produced model launched in India after Micra and Sunny.
Nissan Evalia is powered by the K9K straight-4 turbocharged diesel from Renault Nissan’s engine family, which with 85 PS of power @ 3750 rpm and a maximum torque of 200 Nm @ 2000 rpm.
The Evalia delivers a ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 19.3 kmpl of diesel.
Evalia’s XE entry grade is priced 849,000 INR, the mid XE+ and XL variants are priced at 892,000 and 949,000 INR respectively and feature-packed top of the range XV grade is priced at at 999,000 INR.
