India ranked 2nd in ICC ODI Team Rankings - August 2012


New Delhi, 5 August 2012: India rose to the second spot in the ICC One day International cricket team rankings after they defeated Sri Lanka in the fifth match in the series to win 4-1. India batted first to score 294 for seven with  opener Gautam Gambhir (88), Manoj Tiwary (65) and skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni (58) scoring half-centuries. Sri Lanka were all out for 274 as Irfan Pathan took five wickets for 61.
