NASA's most advanced Mars rover, Curiosity, has landed on the Red Planet today. The mission regarded as one of the most complicated missions ever attempted by man was successfully accomplished.
The Curiosity landed at 10:30 pm Pacific time inside a crater on Mars. Soon it started sending pictures from the planet which included black-and-white photographs from inside the crater showing its wheel and its shadow.
