Budweiser Magnum becomes India's costliest beer


Mumbai, 4 June 2011: Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world's largest breweries has launched India's highest priced beer named Budweiser Magnum. The costliest strong beer in the country is available for Rs. 150 for a 650 ml bottle.

Till now Calsberg's Elephant priced Rs. 135 for 650 ml was the priciest beer in the country.   Other premium strong beers  (with alcohol content higher than 5%)  in India include Carlsberg's Tuborg Strong and SABMiller's Foster's Strong.

UB groups Kingfisher is the largest selling Beer in India.
