Google Drive Online Storage launched for PC, Android Smartphones

Bangalore, 26 April 2012: Google has announced the launch of Google Drive, the online storage space where users can create, share and collaborate files. Using Google Drive, you can upload all types of files, including photos, video, Docs, PDFs etc. Google Drive will provide access to your files on the go, from your PC, Mac, Android phones etc. It also offers search option using which one can search for a particular file or keyword. Even text inside a scanned image can be searched. Users when opted for sharing files can use the Drive as a social network where friends can see, comment and reshare items. Google Drive can work along with Google+ , Gmail and Chrome. Google will provide 5GB storage space for free, which can be upgraded to 25GB for $2.49/month, 100GB for $4.99/month or even 1TB for $49.99/month. When you upgrade to a paid account, your Gmail account storage will also expand to 25GB.
