Assembly Election Results March 2012


New Delhi, 7 March 2012: The results of the Assembly elections held in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa, Punjab and Manipur has been out. Congress secured the most number of seats in Manipur and Uttarakhand whereas Samajwadi Party came to power in Uttar Pradesh. BJP and  its allies secured the majority in Goa whereas Akali dal and its allies won in Punjab. Here is the seat wise distribution of leading political parties in the Assembly elections held in five states.
