Youtube in Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu

New Delhi, 27 February 2011: Youtube has introduced four Indian languages to its interface viz -  Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu. These Indian languages will now add to Youtube's global total of 58 languages along with Hindi, Urdu, Marathi, Bengali and Tamil. The introduction of new languages means, the user can now navigate the website in his own regional languages.

Youtube has also announced online partners for movies such as Shemaroo Kannada and Anand Audio for Kannada, Metro Matinee Videos and Hangama Malayalam for Malaylaam, etc. Youtube also features partners like vegetarian cooking channel Gayatrivantillu, TV 9 news in both Kannada and Gujarati, and TheTimesKerala offers clips in Malayalam.
