IPL 2012 Auction: McCullum, Sreesanth, Laxman most wanted

New Delhi, 30 January 2012:  The player auction for the forthcoming IPL 2012 season will be held on Saturday, 4 February 2012, at the ITC Royal Gardenia, Bengaluru.

The shortlist of the 144 players who will go under the hammer during the auction has been released. The players who got highest reserve price are as follows:

The auction will begin at 11:00 am. The auction will be conducted by Richard Madley, a professional auctioneer from England who has conducted each of the previous IPL player auctions. The proceedings will be broadcast live by IPL Indian broadcaster Sony Set Max.
