Smaller, Less Brighter Moon tonight



New Delhi, 12 October 2011: Get out of your room and watch todays moon now, because today's moon will be 12.5% smaller and 20% less brighter as compared to a biggest full moon.

Todays moon will be smaller and less brighter because it will be seen farther from earth ie 4,06,434 km away and technically known as Apogee.



It was this year the Moon was seen as the biggest and brightest when came closest to the earth in 18 years, it occured in the month of Mach and was termed as the Supermoon.
