Indiagames acquired by Walt Disney


Mumbai, 7 October 2011: Indiagames, the biggest online company in India has been acquired by US based Walt Disney Co, reports Business Standard.

As per sources, the UTV company Indiagames has been acquired for an estimated Rs. 500 crore deal.

Earlier Walt Disney had announced the aquisition of UTV Software Communications for Rs 2,000 crore. Indiagames, founded in 1999, is one of the earliest Indian companies in the mobile and online gaming segment. It had revenue of Rs 54.5 crore last year, with Rs 2 crore profit.
