Formula 1 Airtel Indian Grand Prix 2011

New Delhi, 28 October 2011: The first ever Formula One race in India will be held on October 30, 2011 at Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. This will be the 17th official race of the Formula One and will feature all the leading drivers and teams in the world.

The event will be held at the 5.14km Buddh International Circuit (BIC) has been designed by world‐renowned German architect and racetrack designer, Herman Tilke. The Buddh International Circuit has been designed as one of the fastest, most exciting motor racing circuits in the world.

 Main sponsors of the F1 race are Airtel, Hero Motocorp, Mercedes Benz, Mahindra and Mahindra, Puma, Murdra India, Bookmyshow.com etc.
