MS Dhoni Bowling India vs England 2011 - Video/Statistics/Figures

London, 23 July 2011: Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni resorted to bowl against England in the ongoing test series at Lords.

Dhoni whose team lacked the service of ace seamer Zaheer Khan due to injury decided to bowl himself which was a rare scene in his career. MS Dhoni who is the specialist wicket keeper and captain of India bowled 8 overs with one maiden and 23 runs in the second day of the first innings of England. He even managed to get Kevin Pietersen at the verge of a lbw chance at 73. It was Rahul Dravid who kept wickets for Dhoni's bowling.

Dhoni has only bowled three overs in three test matches before this game. His figures as a bowler is as follows
