Nokia C2-00 easy swap and X1-01 music phone launched: Price, features

New Delhi 6 June, 2011: Nokia has launched two new handsets featuring dual sim in India.

The launch of Nokia C2-00 and Nokia X1-01 was performed in an event in New Delhi called "Twins Day Out".

Nokia had earlier announced the manufacturing of dual sim phones since it began losing market share to Indian companies. The first dual sim phones to come from Nokia stable was Nokia C1 and C2 in August 2010.

Nokia C2-00 and Nokia X1-01 which are launched now offers some advanced features than earlier ones.

Nokia Nokia C2-00 is the first dual sim phone which has the feature of 'easy swap' ie sim cards can be changed without switching off the phone and taking the battery off. The phone remembers setting upto 5 sim cards and good internet applications too.

The phone offers 32 GB expandable memory and will be priced Rs. 3000/-

Nokia X1-01 is a music phone with a battery back up of 36 hours of continous music playback. It has inbuilt loud speakers and comes with 16 GB expandable memory. The phone also remembers settings of upto 5 sim cards. Nokia X1-1 comes pre-loaded with Nokia Money application too and will be available for Rs. 2000/-.
