New Diesel/LPG Price in India June 2011 - Diesel Price Hiked

New Delhi, 25 June 2011: Government has decided to increase the price of Diesel, Kerosene and LPG. Diesel price will be increased by Rs. 3 litre, LPG price by Rs. 50 per cylinder and Kerosene price by Rs. 2 a litre. The price hike is excluding value added tax (VAT).

The hike in price was announced by Oil Minister S Jaipal Reddy after the meeting of the Empowered Group of Ministers (eGoM), headed by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee.

Revised price of Diesel/LPG/Kerosene (Delhi)

Current price - Rs 37.75 per litre
New price - Rs 40.75 per litre

Current price - Rs 345.35 per cylinder
New price - Rs 395.35 per cylinder

Current price - Rs 12.32 per litre
New price - Rs 14.32 per litre
