Cheapest Computer in the World 'Sakshat' Tablet launch this month

New Delhi, 16 June, 2011: The launch of the world's cheapest tablet Sakshat will take place this month.

The world's cheapest computer will cost only Rs 2,200 will be made available to IIT Rajasthan students in June, 2011, reports various media. The tablet comes with a subsidy of 50% which will enable the computer to be purchased just above 1000 rupees.



Sakshat is a 7 inch touch screen tablet model powered by Android offers inbuilt keyboard, video conferencing facility, multimedia content, Wi-Fi, USB port, 32GB hard drive and 2GB RAM.

Around one lakh Sakshat tablets will be initially made available to Indian students in the coming months, reports TOI
