Brazil vs Romania 2011 Ronaldo plays last game for Brazil

Rio de Janeiro, 7 June 2011: Ronaldo, one of the greatest players in Brazilian football ended his career with Brazil's national team in the friendly game against Romania. Ronaldo palyed for 15 minutes in the game was honoured with a win by Brazil against Romania 1-0. Brazil striker Fred scrored the lone Goal.

Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima aka Ronaldo retired in February 2011 after an 18-year career. Ronaldo has played for Brazil in 97 international matches, and scored 62 goals. He was a member of the Brazil national team which won the world cup twice.

He is also the leading scorer in World Cup tournament. He is one of only two men to have won the FIFA Player of the Year award three times, along with French footballer Zinedine Zidane.

Ronaldo was named by Player of the Decade during his career which lasted 1990-2011.

Only Pele scored more goals for Brazil than Ronaldo.
