Blackberry Playbook tablet launched in India

Mumbai, 24 June 2011: Reseach in Motion, makers of Blackberry brand of smart phones has launched its first tablet computer Blackberry Playbook in India. Blackberry Playbook, a 7-inch tablet with Blackberry operating system will now compete with Apple's iPad, Samsung Galaxy tab and numerous other devices from popular companies.

The BlackBerry PlayBook features an ultra-portable design and delivers industry leading performance, uncompromised web browsing with support for Adobe® Flash® Player, true multitasking, HD multimedia, advanced security features, out-of-the-box enterprise support and a robust development environment.
