Baba Ramdev ends hunger strike

New Delhi, 12 June 2011: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has ended his fast after talks with Sri Sri Ravisankar, Art of Living founder and exponent.

Baba Ramdev broke his fast by drinking citrus juice , but will continue his satyagraha for the cause, announced Sri Sri Ravisankar, in the press meeting at Dehradun hospital.

The hospital authorities has informed that Baba Ramdev will be discharged after 2-3 days, if his health condition becomes satisfactory.

Indian Yoga guru Baba Ramdev started his fast against black money and corruption prevailing in India on 4th June 2011. His hunger strike at Ramlila Maidan, New Delhi came to an end when the police abruptly stopped the satyagraha and detained him.

He later continued his fast at Hardwar and was shifted to the hospital since his health condition began to detoriate.
