Agasthya, the Tiger adopted by MS Dhoni from Mysore Zoo

Bangalore, 16 June 2011: Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has adopted a tiger from the Mysore Zoo.

The tiger named Agasthya has been adopted by Dhoni who is also the brand ambassador for save Tiger campaign in India.

Dhoni handed over a cheque for Rs. One lakh to adopt the tiger for one year.

Earlier cricketers like Javagal Srinath, Anil Kumble and Zaheer Khan has adopted animals in the Mysore Zoo.

Till now 390 animals have been adopted in Mysore zoo and gains money for maintaining the zoo with with this.
