Shane Watson 185*(96) hits most number of sixes in ODI, maximum runs via boundaries

Australia's shane Watson became the batsman to score the most number of sixes in an one day international innings in the match against Bangladesh. Watson hit 15 sixes and 15 fours.

Shane Watson hit 185 not out from 96 balls against Bangladesh and as a result Australia won the match by 9 wickets with 144 balls to spare.

Shane Watson also overtook the record for maximum runs in an innings through boundaries (6,4) from Herschelle Gibbs of south Africa.

Australia won the match in just 26 overs when Shane Watson scored 80% of the runs with a run rate of 192.70. This is also the highest score by an Australian in an ODI. Beating Hayden's 181 against New Zealand.
