France bans Burqa

France became the first country to ban Burqa (the full face veil used by the Muslim community) in public.

Incidently France holds the most number of Muslim population in Europe.

According to official reports only around 2,000 women, from a total Muslim population of four and six million normally wear the full-face veils. But media reports say that it is difficult to impose the rule on the muslim population who wear the burqa because it will interrupt the relegious harmony in the country. However the rule plans to impose a fine on people who wear burqa in public.

Countries like Belgium, Netherlands, Italy etc are also framing similar laws.
