Dum Maaro Dum dialogues removed following protests

Some dialogues of the forthcoming Bollywood entertainer Dum Maaro Dum has been deleted since it hurted women's sentiments.

The controversial dialogues was there in the promotional videos of the movie which was telecasted in all leading televison channels.

Director Rohan Sippy has announced that the controversial dialogues will be deleted following a letter from the Information and Broadcasting Ministry requesting him to remove objectionable dialogue from the film promos.



Earlier several womens associations, and leaders from Goa has came up against the movie for portraying the state and women in bad light.

One of the controversial dialogue as said by the lead actress Bipasha Basu in the movie is as follows

'Yahan sharab sasti, ladkiyan usse bhi sasti aur zindigi toh muft mein hi mil jaati hai.'


Dum Maaro Dum stars bhishek Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Bipasha Basu and Prateik Babbar and has been shot in Goa. The movie will be released on Arpil 22, 2011. The movie is already been the talk of the town for the remix version of the hit song "Dum Maro Dum" featuring hot Deepika Padukone.
