Chhavi Rajawat youngest Indian & MBA holder to become Sarpanch in India

Chhavi Rajawat, a 30 year old woman is in the limelight to be India's youngest and the only MBA to become a Sarpanch (village head).

She is the village head of Soda, a village situated 60 kms from Jaipur. Having secured education from Rishi Valley School Bangalore and MBA from Lady Shri Ram College for Women (University of Delhi), she followed the footsteps of her grand father Brig Raghubir Singh to become the Sarpanch of her village. She was working as Senior Manager in Airtel before quitting her job.

The woman with modern outfits and approach hopes for development of her village and also rural India.

On 25th March, 2011, Chhavi Rajawat addressed delegates at the 11th Info-Poverty World Conference held at the United Nations, and thereby become a noted figure in international media.
