Saurav Ganguly may become part of Kochi IPL team

Former Indian Cricket team captain Saurav Ganguly's chances of playing in the forth coming IPL season will be decided on February 4, 2011.

As of now, the Kochi IPL team has expressed their interest in buying Ganguly as a player. According to reports BCCI has asked the franchises if they have any objection in adding unsold Indian players to the needy franchises.

Apart from Ganguly other Indian players such as VRV Singh, Wasim Jaffer is expected to get benefited from this move.

However many team owners are against this move.

Saurav Ganguly, one of the greatest players West Bengal has ever produced was a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders team in the previous seasons of IPL
