How to switch to a new connection:

Send an SMS to the number 1900

Format: PORTmobile number

You will get back an sms with an 8-digit Unique Porting Code (UPC).

Contact the new provider to which you have to switch with the Port code.

Your existing operator will check for dues.

Approval will be given within 4-7 working days

Successful switch will provide you a confirmation sms.

Your phone may be dead for about 2 hours when the porting takes place.

An amount of Rs. 19 will be charged from you to the new carrier.

Once migrated to a new carrier, the subscriber cannot make another move for at least 90 days.

The pre-paid balance will not be carried over to the new operator.
