Harbhajan Singh, the first batsman in Test history to hit two consecutive centuries at No.8


Hyderabad: India's ace spin bowler Harbhajan Singh became the first batsman batting at No. 8 to score two successive centuries in test cricket.

Harbhajan achieved this record when he hit his successive ton in the second test against New Zealand at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad today .

Harbhajan scored his century off 105 balls and remained not out at 111 from 116 balls with 7 fours and 7 sixes.

Harbhajan Singh had scored a century in the second innings in the first test match against New Zealand and a half century in the first innings of the same match. He is currently the second highest run getter just below Virender Sehwag in this series.
