Eid ul Zuha 2010 Wishes


The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil has greeted fellow citizens on the occasion of Idu’l Zuha, which is being celebrated tomorrow.

In her message the President has said, “On the auspicious occasion of Idu’l Zuha, I convey my cordial greetings and good wishes to all my fellow citizens and to my Muslim brothers and sisters in particular.

May the festival bring all the communities and religions of India together in a celebration of our composite culture and civilization.”

The Vice President of India Shri M.Hamid Ansari has greeted the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of Id-Ul-Zuha. In his message he has said that the festival celebrates the spirit of sacrifice and promotes the feeling of compassion and love to serve the poor and the needy. He called upon the people to celebrate this festival with joy of sharing, charity and serve the cause of humanity.

Following is the text of the Vice President’s message :
