Woman talking on Mobile Phone in 1928 Charlie Chaplin film 'The Circus' [video]

A video made by Irish film maker George Clarke about a woman talking on a mobile phone in the 1928 film of Charlie Chaplin’s The Circus.

The film maker has studied this film for over a year now - showing it to over 100 people and at a film festival, and no-one can give any explanation as to what she is doing. According to him the woman is a time traveller on a mobile phone.


This viral video has been circulating in the internet with all possible explanations. Some say that it is a portable radio, some say that it is a hearing aid, and some say that the lady is talking to herself.
