WikiLeaks releases 'The Iraq War Logs' the largest classified military leak in history

WikiLeaks has released 400,000 classified US files on the Iraq war.

The Wikileaks release titled as 'The Iraq War Logs' is regarded as the largest security breach of its kind in US military history, far surpassing the group's dump of more than 70,000 Afghan war files in July.

The 391,832 reports ('The Iraq War Logs'), document the war and occupation in Iraq, from 1st January 2004 to 31st December 2009 (except for the months of May 2004 and March 2009) as told by soldiers in the United States Army. The war files has information on prisoner abuse by Iraqi forces, Iranian training for Iraqi militias, civilian deaths, rape etc.
