BMTC Vayu Vajra buses now with exclusive internet for passengers

The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation's Vayu Vajra bus service will be equipped with touch screen internet access exclusively for each passengers.

The technology called ICE (Information, Communication and Entertainment) on Wheels has been inaugurated today.

The service will be available in around 200 buses in Bangalore.

The internet console is situated in the backseats of the Vayu Vajra. It consist of a seven-inch touch-screen at the back which works based on a wi-fi network.

Apart from accessing websites the service offers daily horoscope, live stock exchange news, weather information etc.

The Vayu Vajra bus service is used to transport people from the Bengaluru International Airport.
