World's longest embroidered sari by Suneet Varma

Indian designer Suneet Varma, along with a team of eight designers and 55 artists has created the longest Sari in the world. The sari based on Draupadi's Chirharan is 55 metre long and 45 inch wide. The sari has  entered Limca Book of Records as the world's longest embroidered sari.

It took 26,400 hours to make the sari and is estimated a price of Rs. 885,000/-.

The longest Sari will be exhibited at Vogue's Fashion Night Out which will take place on Sep 10 at Vasant Kunj, Delhi.
