Man killed as Nokia 1209 mobile phone explodes in Rajasthan

23-year-old Gopal Gujjar, a farmer from Banda village in Kota, Rajasthan was killed when his mobile phone exploded.

This is regarded as the first incident in India where a mobile phone exploded while it was not being charged. The phone that exploded was believed to be a Nokia 1209 reports Fox news.

A similar case was reported earlier in India when a 27-year-old housewife in Kadapa in Andhra Pradesh was killed while she was talking in a Chinese-made mobile phone while charging.
