Sharad Pawar 2nd Indian to become International Cricket Council President

Former Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) chief Sharad Pawar took charge as the seventh President of the International Cricket Council (ICC) today. He replaces David Morgan from England.

Pawar has become the 2nd Indian to hold the top post of Crickets international governing body. Jagmohan Dalmiya was the first Indian to be elected to the president's post in 1997.

Sharad Pawar also holds the Cabinet minister in Indian Agriculture Ministry.
