Dr Tathagat Avatar Tulsi becomes Youngest IIT Professor at 22

Dr Tathagat Avatar Tulsi, will become the youngest Professor in the history of Indian Institute of Technology at Mumbai. He is aged only 22.

He will join as assistant professor in the Department of Physics at IIT Mumbai.

Tathagat Avatar Tulsi, the whiz kid from India rose to stardom when he completed his high school at the age of nine, followed by B.Sc degree at ten , M.Sc at the age of 12 and doctorate at the age of 21.

His aim is to build a Super Computer and to give stress in Quantum Computing and create a lab in India for the purpose. He said he is never fascinated by the foreign Universities, its life styles and also added he loves to live in India.

Eventhough he was called by an international delegation as fake prodigy in 2001, he was named as the world's seven most gifted youngsters by the Time Magazine.
