India wins Asia Cup 2010 - Full list of Winners

India has won the Asia Cup 2010 defeating Sri Lanka in the final. India won the Asian Champion title after 15 years in the 4 nation tournament involving Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

India, batting first scored 268/6, where as Sri Lanka could get only 187 all out in 44.4 overs gifting India an 81 runs victory.

The last time India won the Asia cup was in 1995 under the captaincy of Mohammad Azharuddin. India had beaten Sri Lanka by eight wickets in the final held at Sharjah.

India has won Asia Cup five times (1984, 1988, 1990-91, 1995, 2010), whereas Sri Lanka has won it four times (1986, 1997, 2004, 2008) and Pakistan one time (2000).
