India women enter T20 World Cup Semifinals

Indian women cricket team defeated Sri Lanka by 71 runs to enter the semifinals of the Women's World Twenty20 World cup 2010.

India scored 144 for 3 in 20 overs with opener Sulakshana Naik (59 off 54 balls) and Mithali Raj (52 not out off 39 balls). Sri Lanka batted later could score only 73 for 9 with Off-spinner Diana David (4/12) bowling superbly.

India: 144 for 3 in 20 overs (Sulakshana Naik 59, Mithali Raj 52 not out; Udeshika Prabodhani 1/15).

Sri Lanka: 73 for 9 in 20 overs (Deepika Rasangika 31 not out, Eshani Kaushalya 10; Diana David 4/15).
