Samudra Mahal Mumbai Duplex Building gets record price in India

MUMBAI: A duplex in the prime Samudra Mahal building at Worli has got an amount of Rs 36 crore in an auction, which is probably the most highest transaction ever in India. The Samudra Mahal duplex belonged to ABN Amro bank and was brought by a wife of a late banker.

The last highest transaction recorded was at the NCPA Apartment at Nariman Point in 2007 was bought by a London-based NRI at a rate of Rs 34 crore, reports TOI

The duplex is spread over a built-up area of 3,640 sq ft and has four bedrooms and two covered car parks.
