New Maruti Suzuki WagonR 2010 Features, Price, Variants

New Delhi(WU): Maruti Suzuki India will launch the new WagonR on April 23, 2010.

The revamped WagonR with the new generation and environment friendly K-series engine will have more height and width than the existing model.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited which normally spends about Rs 40-50 crore on refurbishing any existing model had spent more than Rs 290 crore for the new WagonR to make it a complete small car for Indian conditions.

The features of the car include

wheelbase of 2,400 mm
width - 1,495 mm
height - 1,700 mm
cable-type transmission
L-shaped front suspension
tiltable new steering
electrical review mirror
ac with more cooling
ABS-Airbags options

Wagon-R VXi top end variant features keyless entry with i-cat system, central locking, anti-theft alarm, 60:40 foldable rear seat, tubeless tyres, ABS and Airbags, 155/60 R 14″inch tyres

The new WagonR will deliver a mileage of 18.9 km per litre of petrol. However the price of the car is not disclosed yet.

The production of the petrol-gas version of the WagonR (Duo) has been temporarily suspended.
