Where is Swami Nithyananda now?

Swamy Nityananda Paramahamsa who is in controversy over the alleged video with an actress has not given any public statement yet. M Shreedhar lawyer of Nityananda claimed that the godman had not absconded but was in Varanasi. “He is attending the Kumbh Mela, along with 4,000 devotees from world over, and is scheduled to return on March 18.The explanation given by Nithyananda Ashram - Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam towards the issue is as follows:

This is in response to the defamatory video on Paramahamsa Nithyananda aired by Sun TV and various other news media since the night of March 2, 2010.
