Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, Vivaz smartphones, variants launched in India

Sony Ericsson has launched five high end mobile phones under Xperia and Vivaz brand in India.

The new launches inlcude Xperia X10, Xperia X10 mini, Xperia X10 Mini Pro, Vivaz and Vivaz Pro which are priced between Rs 25,695 and Rs 35,795.

Xperia X10 is the first Sony Ericsson smartphone to run the Android operating system. The phone features a 8 MP camera and a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU. The screen supports DVD wide-screen resolution. It allows users access to the applications available in the Android Market. Connection speeds up to HSDPA (3G+) are possible with the handset. It introduces a new UX platform that will evolve across the product portfolio and expand over time adding new features and capabilities.

The X10 Mini and the X10 Mini Pro are the two smaller feattured versions of the Xperia X10 with a slide out keyboard.

Vivaz is the first Sony Ericsson phone supporting High Definition (HD) video capture.
