IFS 2009: UPSC IFS July 2009 Result announced

The Union Service Public Commission has announced the result of the Indian Forest Service Examination held in July 2009. The list in order of merit contains names of 84 candidates, including 33 belonging to Other Backward Classes, 12 to the Scheduled Castes and 07 to the Scheduled Tribes.



The appointment to the Service will be made by the Government according to the number of vacancies available. The number of vacancies intimated by the Government is 85 (Eighty Five). Result of one candidate has been withheld. The candidature of twenty-one candidates with Roll No. 00804, 02170, 02988, 04149, 06435, 06579, 07378, 07560, 08166, 08693, 10412, 11367, 12738, 12751, 12807, 13847, 14885, 17664, 27879, 32788 & 33298 is provisional.



Candidates can obtain any information / clarification at UPSC Facilitation Counter during working hours in person or over telephone Nos.23385271 /23381125/23098543. The Result will also be available on the UPSC web site, i.e. http://www.upsc.gov.in within next few days.
