A collectors edition book called Tendulkar Opus will be published on Sachin Tendulkar. Tendulkar Opus is the largest and most luxurious book ever published on the life and career of Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar.

Colors, 9X, Zee TV, Star Plus, NDTV Imagine, the Indian TV channels has been booked for violating the Child Labour Act. As per the Maharashtra labour minister Nawab Malik, legal action will be taken against producers of eight TV serials for hiring child artistes, TOI reports.

Apple has introduced the new iPhone™ 3G S, the fastest, most powerful iPhone in the market. He has left home Monday his routine morning walk but did not return. His wife Vinayakar Sundari has lodged a man-missing complaint, reports Indian Express.L. In the second-largest acquisition in the history of India's iron ore industry, Sesa Goa, a subsidiary of London-listed Vedanta Resources, has acquired Goa-based Dempo group’s mining and maritime businesses for Rs 1,750 crore in an all-cash deal reports Business Standard.
Mining leases, mining rights, and related infrastructure in Goa is included in the deal.
With the aquisition Sesa Goa can access Dempo’s 70 million ton of iron ore mineable resources in Goa.
India is the third biggest supplier of iron ore in the wordl producing more than 200 million tonne of iron ore annually.

Samsung India has launched Guru E1107 - Solar Guru, the world's first solar powered mobile phone in India.Guru E1107 is a dual charging enabled cellular phone in which solar powered charging is enabled along with the normal electric charging. The main source of power will be from the battery charged by electricity, and the solar power can be used when the battery is low. The Solar Guru will provide 5-10 minutes of talk time with one hour of solar charging.
Samsung has earlier launched Blue Earth which uses solar energy for power in the international market.

A 10-year-old girl, Devika Rotawan who was the eyewitness and succumbed to injury during the 26/11 terror attacks, has identified Mohammed Ajmal Amir alias Kasab the only captured and alive Pakistani terrorist of the Mumbai terror attacks in the court today. She is the youngest person to identify the accused.

Google has launched a new application Google Translator Toolkit, a powerful but easy-to-use editor that enables translators to bring that human touch to machine translation.The Translator Toolkit was initially designed to address the shortage of local language content in India and is now available in 47 languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
The new Translator Toolkit is introduced to supplement the already existing translation option by google - Google translate.
Google translator toolkit has been integrated into Wikipedia, Knol, etc and support common document types including Word and HTML.
The toolkit also provides advanced features such as terminology and translation memory management for professional translators.
Users can upload a document in your computer, or a webpage link, Wikipedia article or a Knol by using the upload tool. Google will do the translation for you and provide editing, sharing, saving and publishing options for the translated content
