Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) squad for IPL 2009 will be announced today. The team has tough task in chosing their captian if Kevin Pietersen moves back from IPL. Last year former Indian Captain Rahul Dravid led the team and ended up in an unsuccessful tournament.

In 2008, 24 global cities will participate in Earth Hour at 8pm on March 29. Earth Hour is the highlight of a major campaign to encourage businesses, communities and individuals to take the simple steps needed to cut their emissions on an ongoing basis. It is about simple changes that will collectively make a difference – from businesses turning off their lights when their offices are empty, to households turning off appliances rather than leaving them on standby.

Aman Kachroo (19) from Gurgaon, who was studying at the Rajendra Prasad government medical college, was brutally done to death by his seniors on Monday.
Aman passed out of Delhi Public School, Saket was a first year student in the Dr Rajendra Prasad Medical College, Tanda, Himachal Pradesh.
Reports say that he has been repeatedly ragged by senior students because he was not a local student in the college. He had complained about ragging to the authorities earlier.
The hostel manager has been suspended, the college principal resigned and two students has been arrested in this issue.

The countdown to the Commonwealth Games, New Delhi, India 2010 has officially began when the Traditional Queen's Baton for the 2010 Commonwealth Games, was unveiled by the Lt. Governor of Delhi Mr. Tejendra Khanna yesterday.
The baton will travel through 71 nations before it returns to Delhi in October next year.
The 2010 Commonwealth Games are scheduled to be held in New Delhi, India between 3 October and 14 October 2010.

MTV has launched the second season of the youth reality show Splitsvilla 2. The show will start airing from 7th March, 2009. The show hosted by Nikhil Chinappa, will feature nine boys and nine girls. The winning couple will get 10 lakh rupees as prize money and a chance to host their own show on MTV.
