India wins fifth consecutive ODI series by defeating West Indies

India won the four-match ODI series against West Indies 2-1 after the final match has been abandoned due to rain. This is India's fifth consecutive one day series victory and a series win in West Indies after 7 years. India has won five match series 2-1 in 2002 and lost 4-1 during 2006.

The last match was washed away by rain when West Indies was facing trouble with 27/1 in 7.3 overs. India won the first game by 20 runs and third game by 6 wickets where as West Indies won the second game by 8 wickets in the four match series. MS Dhoni topped the batting list with 182 runs followed by Yuvraj Singh 168 runs. Ashish Nehra and Dwayne Bravo took six wickets each. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, was declared "Man of the Series".
