CAT 2009 Online Registration, Centres, Advertisement, Results, Fees Information

Indian Institute of Ahmedabad in their website has thrown light to some information about the CAT 2009 which will be a Computer-based test (CBT) from this year onwards.

According to the faq the test will be a computer based test where the candidate will read the questions on a computer terminal and choose an answer by clicking on the correct option. The format of the test will remain the same except that a candidate reads question on a computer terminal and clicks on the correct answer.

The test can be taken only at designated test venues in about 25 cities across India and not via online (internet). The CAT advertisement will be available in the leading newspapers in August 2009. The test will be conducted in ten days from November 2009 onwards and the results will be declared by the end of January 2010.

The fee for the test will be Rs. 1400 and Rs. 700 for SC/ST candidates and will be available as CAT 2009 Voucher from bank branches. The candidates should register for the test online via the cat website. Candidate should also have a valid E-mail account for completing these processes.
