Saina Nehwal becomes first Indian to win Super Series Final

India's new badminton sensation Saina Nehwal became the first Indian to win a Super Series tournament after she defeated China's Wang Lin in Indonesia Super Series final in Jakarta - Score 12-21, 21-18, 21-9.

Saina is ranked 7th in world ranking whereas Wang Lin ranks 3rd.

The victory is the best ever performance by any Indian woman. Saina is now coached by badminton legend Pullela Gopichand.

Saina is the first Indian woman to reach the singles quarterfinals at the Olympics and the first Indian to win the World Junior Badminton Championships.
