Satyam merger: Satyam Computer services offers merger with HCL Technologies / MindTree

Satyam Computer Services, India's fourth-biggest software services exporter have approached HCL Technologies and MindTree Ltd about a merger, the Business Standard reports.

Facing the threat of a hostile takeover by a domestic or overseas company,
including private equity firms, Satyam Computer Services’ management and some of
its institutional investors are exploring a merger with another software
company.
